In the "head" section of the Goodbyn is a frozen yogurt push-up (simply fill a silicone pop mold
In the "body" section is a silicone bowl of strawberry granola, the side sections hold grapes and pickles. There is ice water in the Goodbyn bottle and a few carrots are in the tiny section.
The silicone bowl (Kinderville Storage Jar

The frozen yogurt pop works great in the Goodbyn because it is nice and cold and helped keep the cheese and clementine chilled. Since one of the biggest downfalls of the Goodbyn is that it can be difficult to keep the contents cool, this worked out really well. :)

I'm so glad you posted this because I just got an amazing deal on a goodbyn ($3) but once I got it I wondered how I was going to keep it cold. I hadn't though of putting ice in the water bottle!
I also got that $3 Goodbyn and am excited to try it.
Likewise!
I just got a Goodbyn, but I can't believe how BIG it is! I just can't imagine my 8-year old being able to eat what it will hold. I haven't used it yet, but my other qualm with it is that the lid doesn't seem to fit snugly on. If I have one side sealed, the other side pops up. Have you had problems like this with it?
Liza, LOL! That lid is verrrry tricky. Your Goodbyn should have come with instructions - did you see those? There is actually a "map" for how to pop the lid on correctly. You need to use both hands, so you are pushing both sides of each section at the same time.
A "map" for the Goodbyn?? I didn't see that! Time to search my recycle paper bin!!!!!!
i was wondering if the container that holds the granola would fit inside an easylunchbox. thanks so much ~
Tell me about this yogurt pop, does it work like freezing a gogurt? (that we no longer use because of food dyes) So its thawed and they have to just push the yogurt up?
Joseph, no, unfortunately the Kinderville storage jar does not fit in an EasyLunchbox. :(
That's actually why I bought them in the first place - I hoped they'd fit in the EasyLunchboxes. The jars are much too tall.
Elisabeth, that's exactly how it works! I fill with yogurt, screw the cap on, freeze. Then the kids just push from the bottom and the yogurt pushes up. One end is tapered, so it's really easy to get the yogurt moving up. :)
because of this post, my 6 year old will be getting a goodbyn from santa :) i also ordered TONS of bento supplies for my self... from santa, as stocking stuffers. :P i couldn't think of anything i wanted this year (besides an ipad) so i thought stuff for her lunch might be fun. :) i love your site so much! <3
How tall are those bowls with the lids?
The Kinderville storage jars are 2.25" tall. :)
I LOVE our goodbyn!!! How cute is that wee little spoon, also -- do you have a source for that??
hey Jen, I've had those spoons a long time (little forks also came in the set) - they are "official" bento gear from a bento shop in CA... you may have luck finding them at one of the bento shops I have listed in the right margin of my blog, or maybe on ebay. :)
Does the yogurt pop stay solid enough to send to school? That is such a great idea!
