bento belly flop

Another Lunch Fun Fact:
I make a lot more bentos than you ever see on the blog. Most of the really lousy ones I just don't bother posting. I DO take pictures of them most of the time though, regardless. I would usually put this one in my bentos-best-be-forgotten folder, but as a special treat I'm going to show the latest one to you. Feel free to laugh at my expense. ;-)
I should be ashamed of myself

On the right is a mini silicone cup of mango, a few frosty blackberries and another pastry treat from Whole Foods, this one a cannoli.
On the left side is some easy peasy pasta salad. I shared before how I keep pasta in the fridge to throw together quick meals...this one was tossed in a little Italian dressing and dressed with peas and grated cheese.

*** This is your friendly reminder that there are a few more days left for the the last bento goodie giveaway to benefit the Kallas family. Thanks, guys! Your support has really lifted their spirits, and that means so, so, so much. :)

I tried out your throw together pasta a few weeks ago. It got a big thumbs down. Boo. I was hoping to add something new to my arsenal.

I was wondering just yesterday if you make bentos for yourself? I am having so much fun making them for my son, AND I keep seeing cute girly bento boxes (with me in mind!)...

PS - I don't this this one is a flop at all!

MsCinderella, I do make bentos for myself, but I don't tend to put much care into them so they aren't all that cute! In the "post topics" over there in the left margin you can find the tag "bento4grown-ups" - some of my lunch photos are there. :)

Alisa, I'll look into that. Thanks!

Queenie, bummer your girls didn't like it! Maybe try a different dressing? Add some parmesan? Add pieces of salami? It's just a big hit with Paige and Tyler both - and the ease of it is a real godsend sometimes!
