On the right side are some sandwich-rolled "sorta-sushi" bites, made of bread (whole wheat white bread - the closest thing to wheat my husband will eat willingly) with cream cheese and strawberry preserves. Behind those are some cheddar cheese butterflies decorated with sprinkles. :)
On the left are raspberries, silicone barran to provide a barrier for the crunchy things in back - a piece of granola bar, mini saltine crackers and a few almonds.
My trickery worked! My little miss oohed and awed over her little snack, happily nibbling away and I got to relax while enjoying my coffee. :) Yay!

I love the butterflies! Makes me think spring. sorta-sushi looks yummy! :)
great job!
Love the sprinkles on the butterfly cheese! I made my lil one some butterfly cheeses yesterday and that would have been perfect!
Adorable! Looks delicious too :D I'm glad you got some extra time with your coffee
Just found your blog, and I'm in love! This is SO awesome!! I have been in need of lunch ideas for my 2 yr. old. We get bored of the same stuff and your ideas are fabulous! Thanks for sharing, LOVE it!! I need to get some of those bento boxes.
Hello Heather! Welcome! :)
Super cute, love the butterflies! What kind of bento box is it? Looks like one of the Disney Store ones but I haven't seen that color.
Shannnon, it is a Disney Store one - it had Tinkebell and some other fairies on the lid? I don't really know who they are? I'm such a bad girl mom! LOL
Of course, that lid BROKE (surprise surprise!) and the only non-broken Disney Store box we have left is a Cars one, so that's the lid that went on it. ;-)
Those boxes are such a nice size and looked so cute it's really too bad those latches were so crummy.
Our Disney Store closed and I got in there one of the last days they were open when everything was on super clearance. I could have gotten some more of those boxes for $2 a piece, but I wasn't even tempted. Such a pity!
Anything that lets you enjoy Starbucks is a winner in my book!
We've broken a few of ours too, just dropping the lid cracked the plastic and made a super sharp spot where it broke off. But since I am glutton for punishment I just picked up a few new ones last week. The square Toy Story one and the battery shaped Lightening McQueen ones have a stackable cup inside, kind of a neat size for snacks since that is all I pack nowadays.
I don't think I ever saw those ones.
The lid for this Tinkerbell box, the whole hinge broke off in my fingers when I was opening closing it to put away one day. Just ridiculous! :(
